Role Overview

As a Social Media Video Executive and Producer, you will be at the heart of our content creation process, responsible for conceptualising, producing, and editing compelling video content that resonates with our diverse audience. Your role will involve a blend of creative storytelling, trend-jacking, and technical video editing, ensuring our content is not only engaging but also brand-compliant and optimised for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

You'll play a crucial role in sculpting the digital narrative for our clients in the health and beauty, lifestyle, and wellness sectors, and have a hand in helping us entrench ourselves as the eminent content leader for our target sectors.

Where needed and if bandwidth allows, you may also be involved in work for the other agencies like WizardGeekNinja (blockchain, crypto and FinTech specialty), Tolong2 (small-medium enterprise specialty) and other accelerator business units (pet tech and Web3).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualising content: Brainstorm and conceptualise innovative content ideas that align with specific brand strategies and appeal to key target audiences.
  • Content planning, storyboarding and proposal: Propose video content ideas, including writing detailed content outlines, scripts, and storyboards to visualise the concept.
  • Content shoots: Lead the charge to shoot and produce killer content, be it with a full production crew, or more nimble mobile-shoots made for social. You will be equipped with the right tools and support to deliver great video content.
  • Video production: Oversee the video production process from start to end, working with dedicated video editors, to ensure high-quality content that engages and entertains key audiences.
  • Trend-jacking: To work with other social-focused specialist to keep abreast of the latest social media trends and incorporate them into our content strategy to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Brand compliance: Ensure all content reflects the given client’s, voice, style, and design guidelines, maintaining a consistent brand image across all platforms.
  • Basic editing software proficiency: Understanding basic video editing software such as Canva, InVideo and CapCut, to edit simple and and quick social content independently, while being able to oversee and edit basic work from dedicated creative team members.
Qualifications & Expectations
  • Proven experience in video editing and social media content production. A bonus if it is within the lifestyle, health or beauty sector.
  • Visual storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear narratives that engage viewers.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube) and current trends, with a knack for leveraging these insights to enhance content reach and engagement.
  • Understanding of video editing software, primarily Canva and CapCut. Bonus if you know more advanced software like LumaFusion, FinalCut or Premiere; so you understand and are able to create accurate production estimates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in writing content outlines, scripts, or storyboards.
  • Creative, innovative thinker with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with the digital landscape in the Singapore and the region and the ability to adapt content to resonate with local audiences.
  • Understanding of social platforms; analytics, safe spaces, posting and scheduling content, going live, overlays, stickers, sounds, captioning, etc.
